We leave in a week, and this weekend I'm planning on heading to Walmart to pick up things for the trip. Anyone have a list or suggestions for "must have" things to pick up while I'm there? ::yes:: We'll be taking DD 18 months, so I definitely have Goldfish, Cheerios, and juice boxes, small toys for the plane ride, antibacterial stuff!....any other thoughts? :confused3

Thanks! :flower:

The First Years makes take and toss disposable sippy cups that are very handy. You can wash them but they can also just be thrown away. Also very handy are the Pamper's Bibsters disposable bibs. Don't forget sunscreen. Teddy Grahams are also a nice snack and they come in little travel bags. It is less expensive to take regular size boxes of snack and also buy the Ziploc snack size baggies to put them in for the day.

I'd grab some baby Tylenol (you never know!).

The disposable bibs are a great idea.

We leave in one week, 2 days! Don't forget ziplocs and sun glasses (gotta protect those eyes). Rain ponchos? I'm just starting my list.....I'm sure I'll pack too much!

Foam earplugs!

Every ride is just so very loud. I thought Pooh's Heffallumps and Woozles song was drilling through my head--yikes! DS is sensitive to noise (nothing developmental, he just doesn't like loud stuff) and we found he had a much better time once we stuffed a set of foam earplugs in. Heck, we liked stuff much better using them, too!

If you've got anyone close to you who works in a manufacturing facility, chances are they've got access to some, too.

Just my $.02. Happy planning!

We bought a nice floppy hat, we brought a roll of tape (sounds dumb but it worked!) for DD to play with on the plane. Small fan that attaches to stroller, sunshade (we got a big one that went over the one on the stroller and hung lower and kept out sun for when DD slept). Rain cover for stroller. We picked up a few small Disney stuffed animals at Walmart as they are much $ than at the parks. Have a great time!!!

PONCHOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUN TAN LOTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and definetly sunglasses

 and u have to have a hat and comfy shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

people going on next trip:

thats me!!!!!!!!!! dady :surfweb: Bro :confused3 momy :furious: gramma :sunny:

What about the new HUGE ziplock bags? I am buying them for our trip, I think you could use them for alot. Dirty clothes, wet pool toys, etc. :thumbsup2 The WalMart pre-trip shopping excursion is one of my favorite things to do!!

Walmart also carries insulated water bottle holders that you can clip to a belt loop. They're made of a neoprene-type material and only cost about $3 each. I loved mine! Kept my water colder for a longer period of time.

If I remember correctly, they were in the women's accessories section (by the purses). If you can't find them, ask!

If you plan on using Little Swimmers while there, Wal-mart didn't have any (or any swim diapers of any kind) when we went last May, and it didn't appear that they carried them :confused3 (we did ask about it but I can't remember what they said). We ended up having to stop at CVS to get them. Just a heads up, have fun!

Tape!! What a great idea, my DS is going to love that on the plane! That should keep him occupied for a while!
Thanks!

Band aids and a first aid ointment. Small notebook to write down stuff.

Safety suckers (the kind with the loop for a handle) worked well for us if you dont mind a sticky face and sticky hair) we also gave DD pipe cleaners to twist but she was a little older and you have to watch carefully the ends are sharp but she twisted and twisted for about 1/2 hour. We also went to the dollar store and picked up some coil type key chairs (The ones that look like old phone cords) we hooked some of her toys to these so when they were dropped they didnt touch the ground. Have fun

How about a soduku puzzle book. Got my first one the other day to pass the time while father-n-law was in the hospital. Those puzzles are addictive. I may take it along when we fly to WDW.

Wal-mart has those big swirled multicolored lollipops that the sell in the parks with Mickey on them. ( I am having trouble describing them, but they are all over the place in WDW) Anyway at Wal-Mart they are 97 cents. They're a few dollars in the parks.

There's also a whole line of disney candy available to choose from. Much cheaper than buying at WDW. :cool1:

books. I ordered DORA ones for DD. I think they will be out in March. I had to order them and they will ship when they come in.
