We will be there Nov. 18 - 25 and I make my ADR's tomorrow. Trying to come up with a resort resaturant for Thanksgiving Dinner. We were in WDW at Thanksgiving in 2008 and we ate dinner ate dinner at LeCellier. Is was ok...
I was thinking Sanaa - never been there and seems really cool.
Don't know that I need a traditional turkey meal.
Any suggestions???
Debbie

There have been a couple of other threads about this in the last couple of weeks so those who have been before I am sure will chime in with where they had their meals. Here is a link to last's years from allears.

I would imagine it would be fairly similar this year. We are also going to be in WDW for Thanksgiving (first time) but a non park day for us. I think we are going with Raglan Road. I have read positive reviews of it and my husband likes the idea of celebrating our Irish Heritage on Thanksgving, as that is something to be thankful for ;)

Enjoy your trip! :thumbsup2

I just read this article before seeing this post. It was very helpful. I have narrowed it down to three restaurants...
1) Sanaa
2) Whispering Canyone (we are staying at WL but dining there for dinner earlier in the week, so may nix this one)
3) Captain's Grille

OK possibly Artist Point - but the expense of the dinner is making me nervous!

We will not be using the Regular Dining Plan just the Quick Service Plan. We are staying club level at WL so don't really need all the food credits and we have AP's with Tables in Wonderland. That being said TIW can't be used on Thanksgiving Day which makes me not want to do Artist Point.

You definatley seem like you are on top of things! Artist Point seems like a great idea, but agree the cost is a bit much. Plus I always hate doing something that I know I could have gotten a discount with but cannot at that time. It is like going to a department store and forgetting your extra discount coupons at home, it takes the fun out of the purchase. So I agree AP would be hard to do especially since you can't get the discount but can on another day.

You have already been to Sanna, so maybe's Captain Grille is a good choice for something new. That is actually one of the few Disney resturants we have not eat in, although not sure why.

Good luck with your decision and like I said I am sure some other's will chime in.

Enjoy your trip!

We ate at Boma for Thanksgiving in 2008 & it was wonderful! The soups and the desserts were amazing and they had a ton of traditional Thanksgiving foods mixed in with the Boma classics :)

We had lunch at Tusker House last year and Artist Point for dinner- I swear we didn't really plan to eat that much! Tusker House might be a good alternative to higher priced places....:)
