Suggestions for saving files

Quite a few people love DISigns that they have downloaded but do not recall who made them. May I suggest that they either:

1. preserve the original file name that the DISigner used (these can then be found via the SEARCH or Advanced SEARCH feature)

or

2. name the file for the DISigner such as Millie2011a or MEL001..MEL002 or RustManFanDCL001 or something like that.

or

3. save in subfolders on their hard drives named for the DISigners. I know I have one for Natalie, one for RumblyTumbly, one for Jordak, one for Pat etc.


Other suggestions welcome in this thread !!

bumping......I always see DISers that are trying to remember or are asking who images came from so I will bump this from time to time!

I try Marion, I do try to save them that way, & sometimes I do & sometimes I save them in such a way that I can find them when I look for them and say, "I will remember that's Marion's" & of course my memory ain't what it used to be & I forget So thanks for the gentle reminder and I will try in the future, but can't promise that I won't forget once in a while.
