We're booked for a garden view room at the Poly May 31-June 4 and I'm wondering what building to request. We've stayed in Tokelau before and liked it. There are 4 of us - 2 DDs (6 & 8) and my husband. Any suggestions? I know they'll want to swim at the volcano pool and we'll be taking all possible transportation - including walking to the TTC. Thanks!

We liked Fiji. It has great garden view views, our room overlooked a quiet beach, the monorail and the Wedding Pavilion, and it was very close to the monorail, GCH. It's not so close to the TTC, though. Have a great trip! :flower:

I would stick with Tokelau. It seemed to us to be the best location. Half way between the TTC and the GCH, the quiet pool right in front and a short walk to the volcano pool.

We liked Rarotonga. It's right next to the GCH and monorail, very close to the laundry room, parking and bus stop, and a close walk to TTC. But I believe you can't go wrong with any location at the Poly! :cool1:

We just got back from 5 nights at the Poly. I spent alot of time planning where we would stay and ended up requesting Samoa (location) or Fiji (view) When checking in they said I could have either...so I went with 3rd floor Fiji.
We were a family of 4 - two adult daughters.
While there I kept looking over all the buildings that I had been contemplating staying in...and now even having stayed there I still think it is a hard decision to say where the best building is!
My daughter's were at the Quiet Pool daily and I think if I hadn't chosen Fiji then maybe Tokelau would have been perfect as it is a quick jaunt to everything!
The buildings from Tokelau and beyond towards the TTC have an entirely different ambience...I think. More grass in the landscape with a feeling of more openness...we all noticed the difference as we walked to the TTC one day. Our Fiji room had an incredibly beautiful view because we looked over the marina and the lagoon and I love water views. We also were at the south end of that building (3320) so we only had a short walk to get over to the pools or the food etc.
Although I had requested Samoa as one of my choices, after looking at it, I am glad we didn't stay there. I understand why anyone with young children would want it because of its proximity to the volcano pool but I just didn't think it was as nice a view...kinda busy...the other side of Samoa looking at the quiet pool would have been one of my choices but after being there...I think Tokelau's view of the pool area is more appealing...Samoa's landscape or maybe its the bathroom building...kind of spoiled it.. I am being picky but when there are so many to choose from you kinda look at them from every angle!!!
