Looking for recommendations for QS dinner in Disney Springs. I know there are a number of popular TS restaurants but we won’t have time for long meal the evening we’re in Disney Springs… just popping in for an hour or two for some shopping and a quick meal.

Yep, Polite Pig! We are BBQ snobs - have our own smoker - and think most Disney BBQ is mediocre at best, but Polite Pig is excellent.

And just to give you another option, while it's not really quick service, we love ducking into Jock Lindsey for some apps and drinks. Their food is surprisingly good.

I’m a sucker for Flame Tree. I’m a smoker as well, usually smoke brisket, ribs pork shoulder and chicken. I found that flame tree style rub that’s been going around the internet forever and I use it on my chicken and pork.

But I agree Polite Pig is legit.

Chicken Guy is probably the fastest, Blaze pizza is my favorite.

Flame Tree puts tomato based sauce on pulled pork and that's just wrong :goodvibes . BBQ is fun to discuss though, as it's so regional. Everyone has their own style and thinks everyone else's is completely wrong. We live in PA now (where most BBQ sucks, thus learning to do it ourselves), but are originally from Nashville. Vinegar sauce is the only acceptable sauce for pulled pork (and everyone else is wrong :rotfl2:!)

Id argue mustard is better lol but I agree their sauce isn’t very good. I always get the 1/2 chicken from there

You've got me there, as mustard sauce is probably my only acceptable alternative. It's good on basically anything!

It’s funny, I love LOVE BBQ, and I’m not a fan of Polite Pig’s menu...maybe more specifically their desserts, which are more limited than I expected.

I do love red velvet cake - how is theirs?

Already mentioned and I also recommend Polite pig and deluxe burger. Chicken Guy is somewhat lower on my list. It’s fine but the other two are a bit more elevated (for fast food).

I’ve been wanting to try morimoto street food. Haven’t yet, so i cant vouch for it, but the menu looks good.

We kinda alternate between Polite Pig and D-Luxe Burger, mostly for DH. I love the sides at the Pig and sometimes just get several of them.

Hidden Jem....Splitsville,,,some great sushi and poke bowls....love grabbing table outside and watching everyone...or grab and go....but yes for meat PP is great and big portions...wanted to add,,we have had Splitsville on both coasts,,,they are equally great
