Most of you know that I am 11. Does anyone have suggestions for the plane ride. Normally I would sleep, but I accutly want to do something to occupy myself this time.

Of course books are always good ways to pass the time. You can get one of the Disney World guide books from the library and learn all kinds of cool things and share it with your family when you are standing in line.

Word finds or sudoku for kids help keep you busy and keep your mind sharp.

If you want to 'veg out' but not sleep, a good playlist always works.

Just a few thoughts.

Have fun!

On our last trip, there was a mom with four kids ages ranged from 4 to probably 12 or so (guessing). She brought along some cards from a trivia game they had at home and they took turns reading them aloud and trying to get the answers right. My two nephews (10, 14) were sitting in the same row and were able to take part. They all had lots of fun doing this for at least a couple of hours. If you'll be traveling with a few people, maybe you can all help eachother pass the time with a game like this. Just a thought!

Mp3 Player, Nintendo DS Lite, portable DVD player, Nancy Drew books, MadLibs, Crossword puzzle books, Soduko-electronic or paper, a mini-Q20, cards....can't think of much else.

Before you go, go online with your parents to the disneyworld site and order the personalized maps - helps to go through them before you get there (on the plane is a perfect spot) so you know your way around.

If you have an i-pod, update your playlist with some new music and maybe throw a movie or TV show on there too...check to make sure it's OK first.

I used to like word-search puzzles and reading too.

My kids love getting a new magazine before our trips and they will read those on the plane. They also play their Nintendo DS games. We always have UNO cards, but they usually use those in the airport and not on the plane. We also print off journal pages. If you check out the stickies at the top of this board, you will find a lot of printable pages.
