Suggestions for New Year's Eve at MK

We will be spending New Year's Eve at MK. What do you suggest for dining reservations? Our first day Dec. 26 we are going to have breakfast at Crystal Palace. As of now I have ressies for Chef Mickeys at 10:00 am for breakfast. Do you think we should try to do something in the park that day? I have heard that on New Year's it gets to the point to where you can not leave because of the park filling up to capacity. Our only table service that we've had in MK has been Crystal Palace and the castle for breakfast. Are we missing out on something really special? We have 8 TS to use for this trip. Thanks

Hi Marciagms! Happy to hear you are coming to visit us here at the Walt Disney World Resorts for the holidays! Its a fine time to be here! Judging by your posted schedule, I say everything looks great!! Ok, so your main questions is...Should u go to the park on New Year's? Well I definately don't want to discourage you.....so consider the following helpful tips!

Yes, on New Year's...The parks are very busy. Especially the Magic Kingdom! The Magic Kingdom does fill to capacity, usually early to, sometimes as early as 11 AM. So it's totally up to you if you want to spend the day in the park...just prepare for large crowds...long lines....and long waits for transportation to and from resorts...parks and especially downtown Disney!!!

But definately keep your reservations for the Crystal Palace! You will enjoy it no matter how filled the park is!!!

Thanks for the info! I did call and make some changes yesterday to our ADR's. We are planning on Crystal Palace for around 5:00 pm on 12/31. We are looking forward to starting 2008 at the most magical place on earth.
