We went to Disney World on our honeymoon. We hae an opportunity to go back for New Year's Eve which I am really excited about. One of the biggest things I had a problem with was that at Disney you are locked into buying their food if you stay on their property. Is there a way to get a discount on their food or is there a meal plan that I do not know about? I would take food of my own and store it at the hotel, but I am flying and that would not be practical. Any ideas??

I'm not sure what you mean about being "locked into buying their food if you are staying on their property". We visit other restaurants in the area when we like, but have always been pretty happy with what's available. We love the food courts for quick/inexpensive meals. We never used a resort package that included meals because we do much better budget wise to just go it on our own.
