Suggestions for Last Night at Disney

Hello! My family is going on our first Disney vacation in a couple weeks! We are sooo excited!!!! We will be staying at AKL (free dining) and doing MNSSHP. I am looking for suggestions for something fun to do on the last night of our trip. We will be doing AKL during the day. We have park hoppers. What does your family like to do on their last night at Disney?

I always enjoyed ending my Disney trips with fireworks. So I would say go and see Happily Ever After at MK.

Do you have kids? You could let them decide. That's one of the beautiful things about park hoppers! One year I wanted to go to Epcot on our last night (we often go to MK on our last morning before starting the drive home after lunch) but that plan changed when my daughter begged to go back to HS to go on GMR again (insert me sobbing here!!).

One year I wanted to go to Epcot on our last night (we often go to MK on our last morning before starting the drive home after lunch) but that plan changed when my daughter begged to go back to HS to go on GMR again (insert me sobbing here!!).

I was so so sad to hear that GMR closed before our trip and that splash mountain is down for refurb. I myself went on it once over 20 years ago as a child, but my husband and DD have never been to Disney. That is why it is so hard to choose! They have never been and I have never been as an adult.

I usually grab the nearest light pole, sob and refuse to leave.

We will be doing fireworks at MK on Monday and Halloween party on Tues. Then HS fantastic on Wednesday. Thursday will be our last park day. I hadn't planned on doing Animal kingdom fireworks or Epcot's bc I was worried about too many late nights....Maybe I should do one of those on Thursday or perhaps do MK fireworks on our last night and epcot or animal kingdom on our last night?

I know I am thinking we will be so sad to leave and go back to reality! That is why I was trying to go out with a bang!

On the subject of fireworks it is probably impossible to catch any of the star wars show if you are going to watch fantasmic?

We are doing dinner at CRT, I thought that would be a lovely way to finish.

after the sobbing stops and my husband is able, again, to acknowledge me as his wife....I offer a prayer of thanks for the blessings of such a place, that I am able to have been there, and that I live in a country that offers such joy to so many. No...really.

I don't see an Epcot day. You will be there during F&W, even with kids it's loads of fun to sample from the booths.

We start and end at the MK.
We walk down Main Street one more time as I (mom) looks back at the castle with tears in my eyes hoping we will be back soon.

We are doing Epcot on our first day, Saturday. Sunday and Monday MK, MNSSHP on Tuesday, Wednesday HS, Thursday AK. I have been so nervous planning everything! It is so hard to know how much to plan and how much to just go with the flo I should do!

I have reminders set for both on MDE app. The day we will be in HS, Fantasmic is at 7 pmand Star Wars is at 10pm

We are doing the Happily Ever After Dessert Party w/Plaza viewing on the last night of our upcoming trip.

I always like to end at MK, but I say treat it as a "best of" opportunity. Go back for one more ride on a favorite ride or go grab that tasty snack you missed out on. I love how at the end of the trip we don't feel bad spending a bit of time on the bus for one last chance to ride one of our favorites.

I just checked the dessert parties for our last night and both are sold out. There is one open for the night I planned to watch fireworks on Monday evening. We have lunch at CRT that afternoon, I was afraid that might be too much in one day. But it would be nice not to have to fight for a good viewing spot! Do more spots ever open up for the dessert parties, or is it once they are gone that is it type of deal?

I read on here about the "kiss Goodnight" how long after the park closes does this happen? If it is really late, will there still be buses available?
