We (DH, DD5 and DD1 and I) are going to Disney the end of August. Any suggestions for dealing with a little one (she'll be 15 months) that hates to be held for long but cannot walk (and doesn't seem to care much about walking either with an older sister that brings everything to her....) Any advice would be appreciated since I anticipate very long wait lines (even 20 minutes can be an eternity with a squirmy little one)
Thanks

Fastpasses, fastpasses..... get as many as you can!
Sometimes just seeing all the people and attractions makes the little ones alittle more clingy. My little ones love to play with my sunglasses, hats, necklace or anything else I might be wearing that they can take off me-- so I run with it and wear more of them than I normally would. My DH will make funny sounds, bounce them and before you know it, it's your turn.
Some rides, like Dumbo, allow your husband and other DD to wait in line and then you can hop the rope or do a hand off with DD2.
Hope some of this helps!!!!

We made up a LOT of games. We also let our girls run around a little bit as long as we could see them. For example, the tighter I tried to hold my Cassie, the more she wanted to get away. But if I put her down and actually let her take a couple of steps away from us, she would smile really coy like she was getting away with something but then not go any further. Reverse psychology, I guess. :) I can only remember one or two times where she actually tried to make a run outside of a couple of steps away and we were immediately on top of her.

Hope that helps!

COOKIES AND KETCUP!

My ds was 15 months old for his first WDW trip. I gave him as much cookies and ketcup as he wanted and everyone was happy...heeheehee...

dd was able to do everything except thrill rides...

Have a blast!

When I took my then-15-month-old DS last year, I took a Ergo Baby Carrier in the stroller basket. Then, when we got in a line, I would put him in it. I'm pretty sure I even took him on some rides in it and no one said anything. It worked out really well!
