Suggestions for dog friendly holidays?

We are trying to decide where to go away in July & August in our touring caravan. We will be taking our little dog Izzy and need suggestions for places that welcome dogs eg pubs, beaches, parks etc. Any touring park suggestions that would also be welcome, ideally a small quiet site.

Any help will be gratefully received, we live in South Yorkshire so are willing to consider any area.

We've been going to the New Forest for years, we go to a site called Bashley Park. When we used to have our dog we found it a really nice site for dogs and of course you can go for really good walks in the New Forest. If it helps this is the link

I used to take my dog to Folkestone on camping trips. He loved the beach and the sea (being a golden retriever he likes the water!) and he eventually got the hang of jumping over waves instead of being flipped over buy them He's a bit old for camping trips now (he's 12 in August) but we had some good times there. The New Forest is beautiful too
