I'm taking my son for a couple of nights around Christmas. I was wondering which is the best buffet style restaurant with a great Christmas atmosphere?

Thanks in advance

I hate to tell you, but if you are talking about this Christmas, you'd be lucky to get into any of them this late. As far as buffets with a Christmas atmosphere I'd pick maybe 1900 Park Fare or Crystal Palace, if you could get in. The restaurant itself may not have that much of a Christmas feel to it, but to get to 1900 Park Fare you'd have to walk through the GF lobby so would see their fantastic tree and gingerbread house and if you were seated in the right side at CP you'd be able to see the castle with all it's lights.

Again if you mean this Christmas you'd be lucky to get anything at this point. Just go online and see what, if anything, is available. Here's the link:

Liberty tree tavern is the only place with turkey on the menu. It is a at your table buffet for the dinner time slot anyway. My wife and I only found turkey at that resturant for all of disney. I could be wrong but we couldnt find anywhere else. Oh we have our Christmas Day dinner booked there lol

I agree with Aubriee, If you are talking this Christmas you will be lucky to find anything at all, at this point. Christmas is the busiest time of the year and folks have been making their ADR's for months in advance.
Your best bet is to go online and see if anything is available.

We had dinner last year at WCC and I believe they had a "special" holiday skillet. Not a buffet, but they brought extras of everything we wanted. The lodge is always so beautiful, so it was a nice place to have Christmas dinner.

Good luck with finding a reservation.

several years ago we had a nice christmas dinner/buffet at the yacht club's captain's grill. i would be calling/going online NOW to make those ADRs. good luck!!:yay:

We are doing Christmas Eve at Biergarten and Christmas Day lunch at Coral Reef.

Hi DisLizzie! Your best bets at this point would be resort restaurants because they are generally easier to get into. You mentioned preferring to do a buffet style dinner. I did check just now and found a few things:

Available for 12/25/09:
1. Tusker House (in Animal Kingdom) at 5:20PM (buffet)
2. Todd English Blue Zoo (in Swan/Dolphin resort) at 5:00PM
2. Sanaa (in Animal Kingdom Villas resort) at 5:00PM
3. Olivia's Cafe (in Old Key West resort) at 5:05PM
4. Jiko (in Animal Kingdom Lodge) at 5:35PM (signature restaurant).
5. Biergarten (in Epcot) at 4:10PM
6. Garden Grill (in Epcot) at 3:35PM (character meal)
7. Trails End Restaurant (at Fort Wilderness) at 3:00PM
8. Restaurant Marrakesh (in Epcot) at 5:30PM
9. Tokyo Dining (in Epcot) at 4:20PM

Hope that helps! You'll have to be very persistent and check availability every few hours from here on... Hope you can get something you really like. Here's pixie dust for you! pixiedust:
