Suggestions for BWV room request

Hi,
We are going to be staying in a 2 bedroom standard view at BWV. I remember a post months ago about some suggestions for rooms that have large balconies and a partial view of the fireworks at Epcot. Unfortunately, I can't do a search for anything, I keep getting error codes.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a request to make upon check-in? We are not concerned as much with distance to the elevators, would rather have the large balconies.

We almost always stay in the BWV standard view rooms. You don't need to worry about the size of the balconies. IIRC, they're all pretty much the same size. Witht he 2 bedroom, you'll have 2 balconies, anyway - one off the studio (second bedroom) side and one off the living room/master bedroom side.

To have the best chance of viewing the higher level IllumiNations fireworks from the balcony, request an upper floor across from the bus stop.

Don't wait until check in to make your request. Have MS add it to your reservation. In my experience, the BWV almost always pre-assign rooms (probably becasue they are almost always at or near full capacity). The room assigners work off the reservations. You might get lucky by making a request a check in, but your chances are much better if your requests are on the reservation. THe DVC resorts do not look at faxes for room requests.
