Doing a split stay beginning of February. Last 3 nights staying at the Boardwalk in a 1 bedroom villa. We have a pool/woods view. Can anyone give me a suggestion what would be a good room/area to request?

The resort hallways are really long so I'd just request to be near an elevator so you don't have to do as much walking.

See the map on this thread. The red areas are pool/garden (not woods).

The small sliver of red on the boardwalk side is just studios (Village Green). The end on the left is far from the elevators but there are steps you can use. Main Pool would be the closest to the elevators. There are also steps at the end on the right (quiet pool) for a quick exit to the bus stop and parking lot.

There is only one set of elevators, so this is often requested. Many of the Handicapped accessible rooms are nearest to the elevators.

What are the plans for those 3 nights?

You may want the rooms closest to DHS if you are doing DHS, or you may want to be closer to the parking lot if you have a car.

Do you use the main feature pools or the quiet pools? Will you be taking the bus or just walking to DHS and Epcot?

Some people like ground floor; some like high floor.

At BWV, whatever area you get will have a feature that may appeal.

We will be checking in on Sat. 1/31/15 transferring from AKL. Going to MK on transfer day and staying for EMH's. No plans on Sun 2/1 except to watch Super Bowl somewhere fun...ESPN has no openings at this point. Last full day will be at Epcot. Our check out day we will be hanging out at the resort as our flight home is not till 9pm. So, I will ask for a room close to an elevator as my almost 60 year old legs get tired at the end of the day. Thanks for the suggestions.
