My dh and I are embarking on a very late honeymoon in April. Our last two trips with the whole family we did the regular dining plan and we found it to be so much food and we really just want to kick back and relax a lot on this trip. DH has picked out 4 restaurants, one at each park for table service, those being, The Plaza, San Angel, Mama Melrose, and Tusker House breakfast. He wanted to do something that we haven't done before and that is why we are going to San Angel and Mama Melrose, neither would be my first choice but I am not really picky.
Any suggestions on what to do for other CS meals? I think Earl of Sandwich might warrant a visit.
Thanks :woohoo:

Well it would depend on your tastes, but both MK and Epcot have fabulous options.

For MK, I would say Cosmic Rays. There is a pretty good portions there and you may be able to split one of the bigger combo meals. Or have one for yourself.

At Epcot I would definitely do Sunshine Seasons. They have the best variety in my opinion.

Here's some CS places we like:
Cosmic Ray's and Pinnochio's at MK
Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
Pizzafari at AK
Backlot Express and Toy Story Pizza Planet at DHS

If you'd like to explore some Resorts:
The Mara at AKL
Capt.Cook's at the Poly

We always skip the dining plan, as well. ;)

Our favorite CS places in the parks are:

Columbia Harbor House in the MK. They have a hummus sandwich that is a must for me each trip.

Tangierine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot and Sunshine Seasons at Epcot.

Now that I think about it, there are really no CS at AK or DHS that we really enjoyed. :lmao:

Our favorite CS is Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom... it's really good and the portions are large. The ribs are excellent. I have to have some every time we go!

Our favorite CS's are:

Tangierine Cafe in Epcot (this is our favorite out of all CS's).

Columbia Harbor House in MK

Flame Tree in AK

Earl of Sandwich and WPE at DTD

Nothing at DHS

EOS and WPE are both wonderful CS choices.

To add some extra fun on your trip, take a park bus to OKW or SSR or POR/POFQ and take the water taxi down to DTD. Definately nice and relaxing, especially from POR.

You can also rent a surrey bike and take a wonderful ride through one of the resorts. Do POR/POFQ, because you can do both resorts on the same ride.

You can take a bus back to a park, or take the bus back to your resort from DTD.
