We're going April 29 - May 7, 2008 on the Deluxe DDP. Just myself and DS4.
Any suggestions on ADR's? I have no idea how we're going to use 48 credits, but I'm glad I have them. I definitely want to do some Character breakfasts with my son, and the one ressie I know I'm getting is for California Grill on our arrival day. Hopefully I can request a window seat so we can enjoy Wishes. At what time should I make that ressie for to be sure we have a great seat?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. :)

Last trip we did:
1) Spoodles
2) Cape May Cafe
3) Ohana
4) Spirit of Aloha
5) Garden Grill - didn't much care for that one
6) Coral Reef
7) Mama Melrose's

So far this trip, I would like to try:
1) Le Celliar
2) Kona
3) Boma
4) Jiko
5) Concourse Steakhouse - if it's still open

My kids love the Crystal Palace for breakfast. The characters are Winnie the Pooh & friends. The food is excellent, & I have heard that dinner is great too. I see you tried 'Ohana already, but that is my favorite  . Lecellier is very very good as well. My kids adore the Sci-Fi, the food is ok. We usually just get the burgers, & they are good. I have always wanted to do Chef Mickeys breakfast, but we have not made it there yet. We just tryed ESPN on our past trip, & we thought the food was really good. The kids liked playing the video games while we ate. All you have to do is give them your license to hold, & they will give you the controllers. I hope this helps. Have a wonderful trip!!

where did you get 48 credits?

You're going for 8 nights...

on the Deluxe plan that's 24 credits for (3 cs or ts meals a day)

and then you have 16 snack credits

unless i'm missing something major i'm sure it's 24 not 48 credits.

anyway to answer your question...

You've got CG which is 2 credits

You want to try:

1) Le Celliar 1 tc
2) Kona 1tc
3) Boma 1tc
4) Jiko 2 tc
5) Concourse Steakhouse - if it's still open 1 tc

So you spent 8 credits so far... you have 16 left

I highly reccomend

Chef Mickey's breakfast
Ohana breakfast with Lilo and Stich
Coral Reef
Maya Grill

You already have my favorite ..BOMA

I think jtnsami was talking about her 24 credits, & DS's 24 credits right?

oh sorry ..i never think of it that way since usually everyone in a party eats in the same place..it doesn't really matter that there are 48 credits since you can't share on the DDP. didn't mean to be wifty sorry!

Yes. Sorry. I just have this #48 floating around in my head and just shake my head. I mean I have 24 and DS has 24.

I do the same thing, when I plan for our family of five. I just pool them all together to plan.

That's okay. He'll only be 4 at that time, so I'm hoping to find someplaces that are really kid friendly. I would definitely like to do some signature places too. This is just our Mommy and Me vacation without the 2 older siblings, so we plan to splurge :) .

Definitely do the Crystal Palace for breakfast buffet; and Chef Mickey's for either breakfast or dinner.

That sounds like such a special trip for the 2 of you.

I took the older two last year and left him at home with grandma and grandpa. I felt he was too young, and it was just me and 2 kids. Now if anything will try a mother's patience, it's that trip :lmao: . But we all survived, and I promised him I would take him to see all the "Mickey Magic" and Power Rangers. I can't wait. :yay:

I'm thinking of doing Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Akershus Royal Banquet, and Boma for breakfasts. Any opinions on whether Boma is better for either breakfast or dinner, or are both equally good?

Thanks for all your responses too.

Here are some great restaurants that we are going to do for TS:

The last trip, trying as it was, must have provided great memories for the three of you. Seems very fair that you are getting to do this with your youngest now.

We had a WONDERFUL :cloud9: time. It was the first trip for the 3 of us. To see it through your children's eyes for the first time is great.

I've thought about Whispering Canyon. I've been reading alot of great reviews of it. Anyone think this is better than Hoop Dee Doo?

Play 'N Dine at Hollywood & Vine at MGM. I just booked this for my 5yo nephew. The reviews on this place has been exceptional. Put us over our TS budget, but he'd be too big to enjoy on another trip. So gave up my golf time to sing the hotdog song and shake my booty with the Little Einsteins.
