Suggestions for a good steak

Was on a Fantasmic Package at Hollywood Brown Derby, HS and a Candlelight Processional Package at Chef de France, Epcot. Filet at both restaurants were "on par" in my opinion with Yachtsman.Filet was FILET; still tasting it; yum!

Le Cellier lunch used to be a 1 TS credit for any meal..The steak was a lil bit smaller....Delicious though....I'm thinking they don't have that anymore...

I too, want to suggest the PRIME RIB...over @ SSR, Turf Club.....That was excellent.....And never a problem getting a table....a true hidden gem.

Grand Floridian Café
Sci Fi


I would place them in that order. Anyplace else that has a great steak is either not on the DP or is 2 TS IMHO

Thanks everyone! I have booked half the party at Sci Fi because I think several of our party would enjoy that in addition to the suggestion of it being a good place for a steak. The other half I booked at Mama Melrose, because it too was mentioned as a place for a good steak. Plan is to meet back up for Fantasmic afterward. I did not do the Fantasmic package at MM, though.

New Question:
The Sci Fi ressie isn't until 7:55. I plan to keep checking for an earlier one, but if I am unable to get one will there be enough time to eat dinner and get to Fantasmic before 9:00? I think that is really pushing it and not likely. If the party shows up a little earlier than 7:55 is there a possibility they could be seated a little earlier? We tend to arrive to our ressies 10-15 minutes early, so I was thinking maybe 30 minutes, but don't want to waste the time if it won't make a difference. Another thought is I could split the group up into two groups of 4 and get earlier ressies for each group according to the website, but would they be able to seat the group close together if they aren't booked together? Would calling and asking to do this be better than booking online?

The last three times we've been to Sci-Fi they've sat us at least 20 minutes past our adr time (and we always check in early as well).

Over Christmas, I ate steak at BOG and California Grill. The BOG steak was a 9 out of 10. CG steak was 5 out of 10.

5/10 at CG??? really? Wow, they've really gone down hill after the refurb. It use to be my fave, pre-refurb. I wasnt too impressed with my last meal there post-refurb but im willing to give it another shot.

My favorite steak on last year's trip was at Shutters at Caribbean Beach Resort.
