Suggestions for 18th Birthday

DD is 18 in September and we are trying to think of something suitable to do to mark the occasion. Obviously as this may involve booking something we are starting to think about possibilities now. We have gone through all the normal options of parties, days out etc but she doesn't seem that keen. Anybody got any idea's for something different we could do?

My mum took me to DLRP for 3 days for my 21st (also Sept), best present she has ever got me!

What about an experience day ie flying/driving or a pamper session for you both (after all it's the anniversary of you giving birth too !- In fact I have a 'labour day treat every year the day before DD's birthday -as she kept me waiting a full 25 hour labour before being forceably removed -ouch !

I think having a party or going for a nice meal and arrange a limo to pick her up (my friend loved that, when we did that)

We took all three of ours to the West End to see a show and have dinner at a "nice" restaurant. They all chose the Cafe Royal. It was memorable for us too as the restaurant was so expensive

Lisa, its difficult to know what to do, so this is what we did, even though dd had a few months to wait it still was a special 18th for her.

when our dd turned 18 (in may) we presented her with a large envelope containing pictures and details of dc,we had booked the dolphin swim for her for our august trip. we also bought her a gold necklace and earrings.
