Suggestions for 1 night hotel before wdw resort stay?

We are going to WDW in May and staying at POR. There will be 2 adults and 3 children. I am trying to find a clean reasonable hotel for the night we arrive. It doesn't have to be right by WDW, we can drive there the next am. I would like it near the outlet mall I keep reading about on the Dis boards so we can do a little shopping when we arrive. Thanks for any suggestions. We don't want to start our vacation with a bad experience!
