Hey everyone. I almost have my dining selections firmed up for my October trip. Would love to have some feedback or maybe suggestions on how to make it better. Background- Going solo from October 28th to November 3rd to celebrate my 40th Birthday. This is my 4th trip to Disney in the past 8 years. Have a 6 day ticket with hoppers. Staying one night at the Contemporary and the rest of my stay will be at BLT in a studio. On the Deluxe Dining Plan.
All but one of my TS selections are places I have never eaten before. Wanting to try something new this time around. Included are 3 Signature Dining selections. My plan was to get to see some resorts/areas of Disney that I haven't before.

Also- I am a big fan of breakfast, lunch is a necessity for my medication but does not have to be TS, not a fan of a lot of fish but I love Yorkshire County Fish Shoppe (LOL). I am not a 100% RD person either. This vacation will more than likely be laid back in that respect.

Day 1- Driving from my hotel in Macon, Ga. and Check in at Contemporary
Breakfast- At hotel or something quick
Lunch- Meeting family in Orlando for a quick lunch
Dinner- Probably something quick at the Contemporary or Pizza delivery. --Suggestions welcome

Day 2- Check in at BLT, MNSSHP night, and Start of Dining package- Pool Day before Party
Breakfast- 8:55am Whispering Canyon Breakfast
lunch-
dinner- I really want to do the Plaza for an early dinner. I really don't want to use a day of tickets to just go in and eat at 245pm on a party night. Would love to find something around 400pm so I can just use my party ticket. I have enough days of tickets to swing it, but is it worth going over at 245 to just eat. --Suggestions or ideas welcome

Day 3- AK/Epcot day
Breakfast- Something quick/snack. Want to get to AK for RD.
Lunch- Not sure yet-- Suggestions welcome. Plan on either going back to room or going over to Epcot to explore F&W
Dinner- 700pm at Monsieur Paul

Day 4- Park Plans not set in stone yet.-- More than likely will go back to Epcot in the early evening for more F&W.
Breakfast- 820am- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast (only repeat on this list)
Lunch-
Dinner- 800pm Beaches and Cream

Day 5- Again Park Plans not set in stone yet- More than likely another AK/Epcot day
Breakfast- 815- The Wave (really open to suggestions here)
Lunch-
Dinner- 800pm- Jiko. I really want California Grill but I have had no luck fining any openings. I will keep trying though.

Day 6- Actual Birthday- MK Day (at least part of the day)
Breakfast- 855am- BOG (really rethinking this. I have been there for dinner but not sure if I really want to do this for Breakfast- opinions of food there would be great).
Lunch- 245pm- The Plaza- Only have it here because when I was making my reservations at my 180 day, it was all that was open. Will more than likely cancel since I have it on my Day 2 (see above)
Dinner- 745pm- STK Orlando

Day 7- Departure day- May do AK this morning before leaving for a 12 plus hour drive home.
Breakfast- 730am- Kona Café

The way I figure it I have used 13 or 14 of my 15 dining credits. Maybe less if I opt out of BOG and the second Plaza reservation. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. I am only really committed to Monsieur Paul, STK, Beaches and Cream and 1900 Park Fare and the Plaza. The rest are totally open to being changed.

Looks good! On Day 2, you might consider The Wave for an early dinner. It's usually not hard to get reservations there or you could sit at the bar.

I'm a breakfast fan too and I really liked Captain's Grille on my last trip. You might consider that on an Epcot day. The food was really well prepared and it was a little calmer than other breakfast buffets.

I was a big fan of Captain's Grille also, but it won't be there anymore. It's currently in a temporary location at Ariel's and without the breakfast buffet. They say starting in October, it's being replaced by a different restaurant with a different menu and different décor.

BTW I'll also be at MNSSHP on 10/29.

Day 1 - heard many good things about Contempo Cafe QS at the Contemporary
Day 2 - WCC yes! Love that place! Take the boat over! Dinner may want to consider Skipper's Canteen at MK. Great food, great atmosphere. It's our go-to for pre party TS dinner at MK.
Day 3 - might be nice to try the new QS at Pandora for lunch, Satuli Canteen. We are trying it in 3 weeks, but have read many good things about it.
Day 4 - 1900 is a favorite. Good buffet food and really good characters. Beaches & Cream is one of our favorite restaurants but it will fill you up. You may not want to go to F&W on a full stomach!
Day 5 - If you're going to AKL, you may want to check out Sanaa. Not as fancy as Jiko, but it's on the savanna and the food is one of our favorites.
Day 6 - maybe 1900 Park Faire on you birthday would be more fun?
Day 7 - I'd be dead tired at this point! I would drag myself over to Contempo for breakfast!
