My family (me, my husband, and our 7 yr old son) are heading to WDW in May. Our little guy will be having a night in at Simba's Club House, while my husband and I have a night out. We have DDP and want to go some place neat for dinner, but we only want to use one table service each. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fun place for a couple in their early thirties?

Thanks!

Since you're there at the AKL, Boma would be a good choice. It's a buffet, so there's lots of choices, and it is quite a bit more casual than Jiko, the fine dining (2TS) restaurant there at AKL.

Other suggestions would depend on whether or not you have a rental car...

Bicker's idea for Boma is a great choice! My other choice would be to take the bus (or car) to Downtown Disney to Wolfgang Puck Cafe! DH and I had dinner there Friday night, and it was fantastic!! The best meal we've had so far at WDW! And, the atmosphere is fun and the service is wonderful! We still can't believe that it's only 1 table service credit!!

A lot of people do DTD/PI while their kids are at the kids' clubs. We're planning on trying Raglan Road (at DTD), since they have live music most evenings, then checking out some of the clubs at PI (dh really wants to get back to Mannequins--haven't been since our honeymoon).

Of course, if you don't want to go far, Boma is amazing, but we'd have a mutiny on our hands if we went without dd!
