Suggested Dining Options

9 days until I can make my ADR. I know the few restaurants I want to go back to because they were so awesome. But I want others' opinions. What are some choice favorites of yours to dine at?

We love the Flying Fish Cafe at the BWI, Mama's at HS, Columbia Harbor (as you may or may not know no ressie required), California Grill strategically planned for fireworks on the outlook after dinner, Planet Hollywood (DD), Rainforest Cafe (DD), Yak and Yetti at the AK.

We're going a different route in August with more signature dinning at Jiko and Yactsman Steakhouse. Never been to either have you?

My musts are: Yak & Yeti, Coral Reef, Akershus breakfast, 50's, and Liberty Tree Tavern.
DDs musts are all the ones listed above plus Sci-Fi.
We are trying a lot of new places next trip because we are on the DxDP for the 1st time.

Are you on the DDP? My top 1 TS credit choices are Crystal Palace, Boma, Sanaa, Tusker House (breakfast,) Akershus (breakfast,) Kona, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and Grand Floridian Cafe.

My favorite restaurants though are the signature restaurants, especially California Grill and Citricos.

ETA - Forgot about Yak & Yeti, that is another one of my favorite one-credit restaurants.

Hmm. I'm likin' these suggestions. I have two kids coming with this time. An 8 year and a 9 nine year old. I've been to WDW so many times but never with kids. What are the best character dining restaurants?

I have 9 nights for dinner. So far I have Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef, Yak and Yeti, Chef Mickey's, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Crystal Palace and Sci-Fi Dine-In. I need two more.

I would say Chef Mickey's...it certainly is not the best food but the kids will totally love it. It is loud and brightly coloured. There is just something about it that makes it a fun place.


Our all around favourite character meal is Ohana. We love the atmosphere and it's really nice to have the food served to the table. The pineapple bread is fantastic.

Crystal Palace and Cape May Cafe also get high marks.

I really liked Jiko, Dh and I went for our Valentine's Day dinner. I got some kind of lamb and the cheese appetizer!
