I know this is a totally subjective question, but here goes. We are taking a 4-day and I would like to start a "packing list" -- I've got a mild handle on the extraneous stuff, but I'd love to hear input on the clothes you all chose to bring, or wish you hadn't.

We are 1 Dad, 1 Chunky Mom, and a 6 yo DS. Now, bear in mind, my son LOVES to get dressed up. Go figure. So I'm planning on bringing his dress shoes, and a tie and some sweater vests for dinner.

What all did you bring? What did you wish you had ditched overboard? What did you end up buying on board because you couldn't resist?

TIA

DH and I packed far too many clothes. I think we had two or three outfits for the each day. I wish we would have just packed less overall. I wore a pair of black capris to dinner two nights, a dress for Palos and another for Tritons. Other than that we lived in shorts and tanks for me and t-shirts for DH. As far as shoes just bring one pair for dinners, a pair of sandles for running around the ship and a pair of tennis shoes for ports. Anything more seems like overkill.

4 pairs work out shorts, socks, sneakers, t-shirts
flip flops
1 pair of khakis worn 2 days
1 pair of nice slacks worn 2 days, once with a sport jacket for Palo, dress shoes
few nice dress shirts
8 pairs boxer briefs, 8 undershirts
4 bathing suits.....

thats about it....

We packed an outfit for every day...meaning shirt/tank and shorts plus a dinner outfit for every day..and various shoes to match....for DH and myself...for our DD we packed a little more...because you just never know, sometimes they'll dirty a couple outfits a day....Oh we also packed a couple extra outfits for myself and DH just incase. But we WAY WAY over packed. We lived in our short, swim gear and wraps just about the whole time on the ship...and off. So next time I'm planning on packing maybe 3 shorts and various tees/tanks to mix and match. And the same for dinner a couple outfits that can be mixed around to look a little diffrent. I really don't think there is anyone onboard keeping track of how many times you wore the same black skirt to dinner...or the same shorts up on deck 10. The only thing I'm not going to cut back on is the amount of swim suits we packed. It was nice not having to put on a damp suit the next morning (they don't dry to fast in the BR.)
