We are making another trip back to use free dining this fall. I have all of our meals planned except for one. Can't make a decision on what the last should be. We are not too super duper adventurous but will try new things. Ill list where we are already going so you have an idea. My only definite requirement is it has to be a 1 credit table service meal. I'd prefer that it wasn't a breakfast meal but don't mind switching the current breakfast meal for something better. I just want to limit it to one breakfast target for our trip. We are a family of four; me, Dh, dd7 and ds12

Please don't judge my choices!
In a random order cause I'm too lazy to check:

Garden grill
Rainforest cafe
T-Rex
BOG qs lunch and ts dinner
Mickeys backyard bbq
Cape May cafe
Coral reef

All meals are lunch or dinner except Crystal Palace. Which is after park opens so it's not like we will have an early entrance so it's not of great importance. All of these meals are repeats for at least Dh and I except the bbq.

Are you going to Hollywood Studios? My family loves 50's prime time- good food, hilarious cast members and neat atmosphere- it's also not too adventurous regarding food. Tusker House at Animal Kingdom is a good character meal with some adventurous food.

We are going to dhs. We haven't been to 50's primetime. The kids and I did go to Tucker house last time but Dh was too sick to join us. It was ok but I wasn't a huge fan.

I was thinking either a dhs or animal kingdom day would need another meal so somewhere near there even at a resort would work.

I do have a question for anyone that has been to Teppan Edo can you skip the noodles and special rice and just get steamed rice? We have similar restaurants locally that we enjoy just not sure we want that experience there as .

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is great, but does have some crazy food (which I love!)

We love Ohana and Kona Café at the Poly.
We love Sci Fi at HS. Our kids love sitting in the cars and watching the movies.
We love Via Napoli, Akershus and Rose and Crown (DH loves the fish and chips) in EPCOT. We love Garden Grill but you are going there already.
We really love Sanaa and Boma. At Sanaa if you have a window seat you can see the animals.
For breakfast we love 1900 PF at the GF.

I hope that helps. Enjoy your trip.

Another vote for Sci Fi at Hollywood Studios and Via Napoli at Epcot.

We love Sci-Fi at HS. 1900PF Cinderella dinner at GF is very entertaining with the stepmother and stepsisters.

No ma is a buffet and there are some unusual foods on the buffet, but there are tons of regular every day food also, including a carving station for meat.

It's a great way to end an Animal Kingdom day as you go to the resort, have dinner, then you can do night time viewing of the animals, hear stories around a fire pit, or at times there are activities for the kids. It's a beautiful resort and a fun place!

The gift shop has some very unusual items also!

Another fun option is Raglan Road in Disney Springs. Extensive menu, live entertainment. Loud but fun!!

Yak and Yeti
50s Prime Time
Raglan Road
These are some of our new favorites from our last trip

I have to go with one of the previous posts, "50's Prime Time Cafe". We eat there on every single trip. Great fried chicken.

I would ditch the BBQ for anything else. That one was my least favorite ever.

In DHS I would choose the Mama Melrose. It is our favorite DHS restaurant.

I would suggest Boma on your AK day, but if your DH did nto like the offerings at TH, he probably will not like Boma, so how about Yak and Yeti just befor you leave?

I do not see where you are staying, but I like to have at least one TS meal at our resort, wherever we stay. It makes a nice relaxing evening.

We are staying at a value so that wouldn't be an option. I don't mind traveling to another resort though.

Does anyone else have experience with Mickey's bab and can offer better reviews than pp or is it pretty much what they stated for everyone here?

Our lunch and dinner list that you don't have for our upcoming trip is:

Biergarten
Teppan Edo
Hollywood and Vine (excited to see the characters in Halloween and Christmas dress)
1900 Park Fare
Spice Road Table

You already have a handful of our other choices. :) We also didn't care for Mickey's BYB. I'd choose Hoopty Doo if you want a dinner show.

The BBQ is like a picnic. It has the same food that is served at the HDDR, as well as hot dogs and burgers, and is served like a Buffet, and is serve yourself. Ice cream adn Popsicles for dessert. The BBQ is under nm open air paviolion, with long picnic tables in a U shape that circle the center of the room like at a wedding where the band is located, and extend towards the outer rim of the room.

The characters dance in center several times during the BBR< but they do nto do traditional M&G. They do not sign autograph books. There is a little show that is nice. Seating is first come first choice, so if you do not want teh outside of the room, get there early. Servers do offer beer and wine.

I did not enjoy this event, but a lot of people do. My DGD was kind of shy and the whole thing was overwhelming for her. Other kids were having a blast, so you need to know your family.

We are not super adventurous either. These are some of our faves- Ohana, Trails End Buffet, Via Napoli, Trattoria Al Forno! And you're already going to our other faves.. BOG and Rainforest Cafe :)
