Sugar free at Disney?

My dd 20 cannot eat sugar (artificial is okay in moderate amounts), and we were wondering if there are any places that have good sugar-free desserts? It will also be her birthday while we are there, will they have sugar free options, is this something we should ask about or is it not a possibility? If not that is totally okay, she is turning 21 after all - she is not going to have a tantrum! But just curious if anyone knows!

You might want to check the menus on Allears.net. They will list if sugar free desserts are offered. You should definitely ask as well, they can usually whip something up.

Most places have “No sugar added “ desserts, but most don’t have sugar free desserts. The common things are:
No sugar added brownies
Fresh fruit cup
Fruit parfait
No sugar added frozen fruit bars (at some carts that serve ice cream and fruit bars)

Between the 2 menu sites, you should be able to find what is being served.

You may be able to get something made for you at the Full Service restaurants. Since cakes or whatever take some time to bake, you would probably need to order ahead of time.

Is it that she's allergic to cane sugar or HFCS or is it that she has to watch her total carb intake due to something like diabetes? There's a huge difference. If it's an allergy or intollerance then she really needs to speak with a chef everywhere she goes because there could be small amounts of sugar in all sorts of dishes, especially those with sauces.
