Do you play sudoku a lot?

Which type :Number 1-9 one or more complicated ones?

I like the more complicated - like the 16x16 ones, and also the mis-shapen ones, can't remember what they're called.

Sudoku is great for standing in lines at rides at WDW. Did that last March. Makes the wait seem shorter. Also the bus lines.

I've started playing this a few months ago and it's very addicting. I do much better with the easy ones. I haven't conquered the hard stuff yet.

1-9 in my daily newspaper, but I only do it Thursday through Saturday since that's when they run the "harder" puzzles.

I play the 1-9 ones on AOL games. I got 2 books for Christmas last year and finished them in no time flat. :goodvibes

I just started doing the 16 x 16 ones...those are fun.
took me almost 3 days to finish the first one..but the second one..is coming along a little quicker!

I've done a couple of 12x12 but didn't really like it much. So I stick to the harder 9x9s. I've also been doing Kakuro lately which is similar.

Hi, my name is Dorothy and I'm a Sudoku addict. I got a book of puzzles just before my last solo trip to WDW, and boy did it keep me busy at meal-times, in lines, on buses, etc. So far, I only do the 9X9 ones, but even with those some are very easy (like the ones in our paper), and some are pretty hard.

I am also an addict. I have found some great sudoku books at our dollar tree. I whip those out sometimes 5- 6 per night. I do the 1-9 puzzles.

Did you guys find that you are beginning to think faster/ got smarter after playing this type of game? ;)

Love those puzzles. I take a book of them just about everywhere. Like others have said they are great for passing the time when you are forced to wait for something. Haven't tried any of the larger ones, but may just have to check them out. They should come with one of those warnings though. Warning: These puzzles may be habit forming and distract you from what you should be doing.
Hmmmm, kinda like these boards!

lol i am still working on the easy puzzles. I am an sudoku addict and i play it on my nintendo ds:rotfl:

I used to poo-poo on it because EVERYONE was talking about it and I thought it looked dumb. Then for Christmas my DH2B bought me Brain Age for my Nintendo DS Lite and it has Sudoku on it. I tried one of the puzzles and I'm totally addicted now!! I play every day!

My kids got "color sudoku" for Christmas. We have it set up on the bar and work at it every once in a while. I think I'm too stupid for sudoku. I get all excited thinking I've solved it, and then something goes wrong and I'm practically back to square one. Very frustrating!

I love Sudoku. I am looking for my very own Handheld. DD doesn't like to share her Nintendo DS.

Anybody find a good handheld one on the market?
