Okay-- where in the world inside WalMart would I find those sunction cups with hooks on them??? Really want to use them on the cruise, but have no idea where to find them.

I just found mine two days ago in the laundry aisle - by the hangers, portable hampers and the closet door shoe organizers. Good luck!

Found them in Ohio at "Dollar Tree" where everything is a buck. Had two different sizes. Also had over the door shoe organizer.

The one's from the Dollar Store are definitely cheaper. But they also did not work for us. After about 3 minutes, all of them popped off the shower wall. I wound up throwing them out. And no, I didn't hang too much. One popped off with just DD6 bathing suit top on it.

The clothesline in the shower works just fine for drying things.

If you really want to use the suction cups, be sure to try them out at home first to make sure they hold what you want them to hold.

I give up trying to find them at target. i am going to the hardware store!

Found mine at Wal*mart in the bathroom accessories area (soap dishes, etc)

I use them to hang a blanket on our bay window where the sun beats in while we try to do school, but it's otherwise not a suitable place for a permanant window treatment. They hold well.

I also just took them on the 10 day cruise. Used two small ones to hang the kids' stockings on the mirror for Santa to fill. Used the two larger ones (overkill, but the only other ones I had) to hang Christmas lights on the verandah door. :)

Thanks, thegales, I will definitely test mine prior to sailing on the 16th of this month. :rockband:

Just bought some from Walmart, (2 for .94 cents) they were by the bathroom towel bars, shower curtain rod. I brought them with last year & they worked great, decided I needed more than 4 this year.

Do you have Michael's over there? I found them over by the floral/raffia wreaths. They come in three sizes marked with the amount of weight they'll hold. The large ones worked really well, and we hung our KTTW lanyards and pin lanyards on them as well as hanging up wet swimsuits and stuff.

They are also at Target in the bathroom accessories section, along with suction-cupped holders. I found those were great for keeping the shampoo and body wash bottles corralled. The swaying of the ship can knock them over.

I found my "SnapHooks" at Michaels displayed near the photo frames. They came in a red and white box with 3 medium and 3 large hooks. I used one to hang my Christmas wreath on my front door and it never once fell down. Hopefully you'll find them at one of the many stores listed in this thread.

oops, meant to start another thread here!

As usual, you guys are great. Our Dollar Tree here hasn't had the suction hooks or the shoe hanger the last two times I've gone, so heck with it--- I'm off to WalMart! Thanks, guys!
