Help!!!

We're visiting family about an hour east of Disney next week. I thought it a great treat to take the kids to Typhoon Lagoon one day, spend the night, and do Disney Quest the next day.

I usually stay on Disney property, but thought this was a good opportunity to try something else.

Unfortunately, Radisson Celebration and the Plaza (the 2 I was interested in) have more than their share of recent negative reviews!:scared1: Enough to scare me away.

This was just an impromptu quickie, so I wanted something cheaper than, say, the Hilton. Looking to spend no more than $100 plus tax.

Any thoughts? I've stayed everywhere from Motel 6 to the Bellagio, etc., but don't like dirty hotels, bugs, smoke. Hmmm...:confused3

(fwiw, I most often stay at POR, but if I were to be very truthful, I'd have to admit it is getting run down...but that's a separate topic)

TIA!!!

Comfort Suites Main Gate East is a good choice. Their rooms sleep six and have a mini fridge. You also get free deluxe continental breakfast (fresh fruit, pastries, make your own waffles...). My mom and sister stayed a few years ago and enjoyed it, and since then it has been getting good reviews on these boards. You can get it for $87 through www.hotelmartusa.com. We have booked through this company several times with no problems.

Good luck.

my visit to Best Western Lake buena vista - was just fine. and it is a real DTD hotel. One of the 7.

this place sometimes has some deals on it
