Succssfully upgraded 6-day hoppers to 8 today!

I bought 4 6-day parkhoppers before price increases at disneyland.com. We arrived today and I was able to take our paper tickets to the ticket window and successfully extend our tickets. We only paid $20 total and now have 8 day hoppers. Very, very happy!!

That is fabulous news! This will give other people hope knowing they can possibly do the same. That's not very expensive at all to upgrade. Way to go!

I also had good luck when I went to add 1 more day to my 6-day park hoppers. I went to Guest Services in California Adventure. The CM did make a phone call to verify she could do it, but the answer was yes for $5/ticket. I was very excited!

Very nice. $5 each for TWO extra days is awesome. I hope I can swing that when I go next month. That will give us so much more flexibility.

Question. Did you do this before entering the park or after activating the e-ticket?

I ask since we will be getting to the area around midday and didn't plan on going the first day. We would if we could upgrade. So I don't really want to activate the park hopper unless I know we can add days.
