I have alerts set through ************ for Oga’s for 2 days next week and have gotten 5-6 notifications. However each time in the <10 seconds it takes to get to the Disney site the reservations are already taken. Wondering if there is any hope as I literally can’t click the link any faster than I already am. On a related note I have 2 searches set for Sci-Fi as well through TP and haven’t gotten a single notification yet so it would seem their free service is a fail.

Have others had success getting ADRs this way? Very frustrating.

Touring Plans worked for me last week at Sanaa-it May just be that no reservations have opened up for you.

I'm not familiar with ************, but I've had a lot of success using Touring Plans reservation finder in the past. I've scored quite a few reservations because of it. It definitely works.

I have alerts set up in *********** and TouringPlans. Yesterday I was able to get Oga's for 4/23 after an alert from mouse dining. I did not click the link in the alert, but instead went into MDE and navigated to that day and time.

The Touring Plans one does not constantly search. I think it searches once every 20 minutes or so. I don't know about the other ones. If an ADR were important to me, I would check periodically myself as well as having the alerts set.

I've had good luck with touring plans, but as others have said it only searches periodically so it's likely that if you get an alert in the middle of the day that a bunch of other people have gotten the same one (and many of them probably got it before you did). When I have been trying for something specific I set up both Touring Plans alerts for the same one (do one at the breakfast/lunch/dinner and one at a specific time)- they run the search at different times and I've had good luck this way. Also set up the text alert and leave your phone on loud - lots of stuff seems to come through around 5 AM for me. Good luck!

Success finally! 6th notification from MW and was able to get a lunch res for Ogas next Monday. Patience and perseverance paid off (and $5 . I do recommend ************ dining finder over TP because of the texts rather than email.

The things to remember with these services is that there are very likely others who have the same searches set up AND the finder does not hold the reservation - so anyone looking just at the right moment could theoretically grab it up, especially for a popular location.

I use Touring Plans, but I also search on my own as well. (And as has been stated, you can set Touring Plans to text you as well.)
