Success at Bath & Body Works yesterday!

I went in to exchange 2 body sprays I bought Monday at 9AM, don't know what I was thinking when I got them??? A clerk asks me if I need any help and I smile and thank her and explain that they don't have what I want. She asks and I reply clover and aloe. She went over to a bin and pulled out a shower gel, I explain I am looking for bath spray and begin to walk away. SHe laughs and says oh they are right here, we just put them out as we got them last night! I bought 10, lol! They explained that with this sale they will be adding new merchandise daily for the rest of the sale. A message to all, don't give up just keep checking. My B&BW even offered to put my name on a list and call me if the other fragrance I was looking for came in! Now that is great customer service.

white tea ginger something cucumber...meh...not for me.

ah well...save my bank account at least!

might have to pony up the full price for the kinds I actually want

What kind are you looking for? I live in Central Mass and all 3 of the closest B&BW have changed their items daily this week. I can let you know what they have if you want.

I stopped in yesterday because I hadn't been in one of their stores in so long. It must be between a year and two since I was able to find Water Blossom Lily hand soap. It's the ONLY scent I like! Yesterday they had it! So I bought TWELVE bottles! LOL! The cashier was a little surprised. I told her I hadn't seen it in ages and thought they must have discontinued it. She told me they have it for their two big sales a year! Aha! That's it!! I'll have to check again in 6 months. Gee...think 12 bottles will last that long with using them in two bathrooms?

I got the Coco Cabana (I called it Coco Banana when talking to the sales clerk ) spray and lotion. I love it for summer. I am on a coconut binge. I also bought the coconut grove wallflowers and Coconut Lime room spray. Plus I already have Asquith & Somerset Banana/Coconut room spray, body cream, and bar soap. Oh, and Cocktail Party's Pina Colada body cream.

I just bought wallflowers for $5... but I don't wear any of their stuff. I don't believe we have Pink Lemonade, didn't see it in January either. The only thing we were sold out of this week has been the Cool Citrus Basil, it's VERY popular. We just had body wash left, but will continue to get in freight and will likely get it in again. We, too, have a list of people looking for specific items that we call.

If you happen to love an old discontinued scent, than the sale rocks =) But if you're looking for items we still carry, it's not so good... =)

Oh, and all the stores will be getting the same scents, so if one store isn't getting any pink lemonade or something in, none of them are...

GLad you found what you wanted!!!! We had tons of people in January come in and buy a years or more worth of certain scents =) You're not strange!

The sale at B&BW is great! I bought the Rice Flower and Shea body spray ($16.50) and the lotion ($17.50) from the Luxuries line for $6 a piece. I saved a total of $22! I want to go back for more stuff, but I don't need it.

I loaded up on True Blue Spa stuff. They will have the men's line on sale next week (for Father's Day, I guess). My husband loves the men's line.

I went again today....the BBW I went to today was HUGE! Tons more stuff than my mall BBW; bought more of my fave scent Coco Cabana and my fave peppermint shampoo. Another $16 gone. Oh well, it's fun!

I was there on day two when the "big sale" started...walked out $107 poorer!!

I did buy some things that weren't "on sale" but got lots of sale items too. I bought one of those scented plug-in thingies (can't think what they're called) for $5 and wish I would have gotten a couple more. It is Warm Vanilla Sugar and now my bathroom smells soooooo good!!

Does anyone know how much the bulb-thing refills cost for it?

The plug-ins are called wallflowers.
The special for refills they have all year round is buy 3, get one free. There are two refill bulbs in one package and the cost is $12.

I heard the 12 dollar price and thought it was too high.....cashier did not tell me about the special or that there were 2 in a package. Does anyone know how long they last?

Well, thanks a lot everybody!!! I just HAD to go to B&BW with DD5 today (she calls it the smelly store) and we spent a small fortune! Got some stuff for me, for her, for the bd party she's going to today (won't the Mom love that we are giving her 5yo some roll-on glitter? ) and some things for bd presents. We had two big bags to carry out! The place was very busy and the prices were great! Just love it.....
