Substitutions at Contempo Cafe

We are really excited about eating breakfast at the Contempo Cafe this January because they offer TURKEY sausage! For Those of us who don't eat pork, breakfast at a restaurant can be disappointing because it seems that EVERY meat product is pork. So...to my question. Most of the breakfasts at the Contempo Cafe come with bacon and turkey sausage. Does anyone know if it is possible to substitute another side of turkey sausage for the bacon using the automated ordering kiosks? Or will we have to talk to a human (oh the horror)?

I have never changed anything on their items however I found out if you don't want something or want to make a change, after placing your order on the touch screen machine go to the place where you pick up your food and let the Cast Member know. They don't start making your food until you actually pay for your meal because that is when you get a pager which will go off when your food is ready.

The kiosks have MULTIPLE options available. I believe when purchasing a meal or entree, there is a "make changes" or "make substitutions" button, which opens up a new screen where you can add or remove items or change sides, etc. I did that a few times, although not 100% sure if there is an actual button for it or if it just automatically gives you the option on a new screen. I definitely saw it when ordering a hot sandwich. I had to option to remove cheese, sauce, and to change the side item to a different one or pay extra to "upgrade" the side. Also had it when ordering the waffles. You got the option of no topping, bananas only, caramel only, or bananas and caramel. My sister ordered one of the platters, and I believe she got all bacon and NO sausage, and none of us ever had to speak to a person to do these things.

Any options other than "removing" tend to cost a bit more, so if you want to sub ALL TURKEY SAUSAGE for one of the bacons, it might cost extra.
