Substituting 1 TS for 2 QS

Hi everyone! I was able to go to WDW last year on the free dining plan, and have planned my trip to go again this September. I remember last year, they allowed us to exchange 1 TS for 2 QS meals. Has anyone heard or read if this will be offered again this year? I know it wasn't posted anywhere until we got there (I assume because of the full reservations at TS restaurants). When I go in September, I am going with a picky eater, and we don't have a lot of TS restaurants to choose from, so exchanging the 2 QS meals would be ideal for us. Let me know. Thanks!

i would also love to know if this only happens during free dining or do they do that during any dining time?

As of now, the information I have received from asking this question while on the phone with Disney, all credits can only be used for what they are originally designated for, and no trades/substitutes are being offered.
As all things with Disney are subject to change now & then, you can always ask on arrival, but in my oppinion.. I don't think they will be changing this?

We went last year and they offered 1 CS & a lanyard w/ pins in exchange for 1 TS because the TS's were full, but I never heard that offer.

This is what we were offered too. but it was 1 CS and a choice of a really cheap lanyard with one pin (mickey or minnie in an airplane) or 2 snacks.

The only thing I have ever heard of them substituting for the last couple of years (and it seemed to be only when T.S. Adrs were not really avail)
was the One counter & 2 snacks, or one Counter and pins.

I'd be surprised if they offered 2 counter service meals. (although it would make me happy too)

The last 2 years for free dining we traded 1ts for 1 cs and 2 snacks or lanyard with pins.
