Submitted my application to a few Professional Internship positions, am I NLIC'd?

So I just submitted a few applications for PI's for this summer. One internship I applied for a few weeks ago immediately went to "Submitted" with the first purple bar lit up on my dashboard, and it has stayed that way. Now the new ones I applied to today, those I got emails back saying that they've been submitted and will be reviewed, but those purple bars on the dashboard are not lit up. It looks like this:

...except it does not say "No Longer In Consideration". It just says the date. Am I no longer in consideration? Or am I unnecessarily freaking out and it will "light up" and say submitted when they review it?

I believe you are okay. I don't think the bars will light up until you are "In Progress" Also if you get NLIC it will say so and you should get an email telling you thanks but no thanks.

I applied for several PIs on march 6th. How long will it take for someone to contact me? All dashboard icons say "in submission"

I wonder if we wait until Monday now / hear. Do they work on the weekends??whsts the date they have to look us know by. Good luck

You might hear back for an interview today, because I got my interview confirmation two days after applying. Good luck to you!

It really depends on the PIs you applied for. Each department does the hiring/application process a little different. Goodluck!
