STVS Video Extras - worth the money? Need Help!!!

My fiance and I are getting married in just under 3 weeks and we will be using Stan from STVS as our videographer. We are debating on a few things. Here is the schedule.

Coach takes Fiance to Wedding Pavilion
Wedding at GF Wedding Pavilion @ 12 PM
Major Domo Announcement and Rings
Pictures until 1:30 PM or so
Coach from Pavilion to GF
Reception at Whitehall room - no dancing since it will not comfortably fit with 40-45 guests to have a dance floor
Micky and Minnie Mouse at reception
Town Car to Polynesian 4 PM

Base Video Package for 5 hours is $1785

The extras we are considering from STVS are:
1) Fairytale Opening and Ending ($85)
2) Glass Slipper Reveal ($175)
3) Pumpkin Coach Reveal ($150)
4) Castle enhanced in the window @ Pavilion. Apparently there is quite of bit of "white out" on the window that has the castle behind it. ($185)
5) Hi Definition Recording ($500)

If we skip the extras we would keep $1200 in our pockets to use for other things. However, I do not want to look back on the wedding and think we cheapened out on the video to save some money. Longer term the video will be what we have to remember the event by. Any thoughts on what extras are really worth the money and which ones are not?

I personally thought just through the demos that the wedding castle in the window would be worth the extra cost. We are going to add the fairytale opening and closing, for we weren't too crazy about the wedding book.

I think it is a personal preference. I love his effects, even though my FDH thinks they are a little cheesy, I think it adds a little Disney magic to the video.

My DF thinks they're cheesy too! When he saw the slipper reveal and the coach reveal he starting laughing hysterically so I made sure to cut those out. However we're doing the fairy tale opening and maybe the castle in the window

Mine did the exact same thing! Which is why we aren't having those (well we're not having the coach anyhow)... I didn't want him to crack up everytime we watched our wedding video.

Hey there:
I'm sorry I think the glass slipper and pumpkin coach were not very elegant and were way too cheesy. I have seen numerous STVS videos and I just think those 2 options look like they are more for children.

Im getting married at the yacht club so the oly one i will be having/considering is the fairytale open/close.

We have decided - at least partially - what we will do. Thanks for all of the advice so far. We looked at Stan's video again last night and I have to agree with those on this board - I think the pumpkin coach and glass slipper reveal are cheesy. So we will skip those. Fiance is fine with that since those combined cost over $300. The only outstanding item I am debating is the HD DVD option. I am not sure if it is worth the $$$. That alone is a $500 premium. Widescreen is somewhat less and a $350 premium.
