Stupid Red Sox!

That game with Atlanta was so close last night, I just had to stay up and watch it until the end. The end happened right around midnight!

Now I'll spend most of today like a zombie from lack of sleep. Well at least they won the game. The whole thing started to remind me of the ALCS of 2004 with those Yankee games that were ending the day after they started.

Great game. My favorite event of the night... Trot Nixon's catch!

On an aside, have you ever gone down to Red Sox Spring Training in Ft. Myers? Any advice or information would be appreciated!

You're right, I should be use to it but the older I get, the harder it is.

Nope, never gotten to ST. Ft. Myers is a ways from us. What I was hoping for this past spring was that the Sox would play one of the teams that train much closer to us. I think Cleveland has their ST in Winter Haven and Detroit is in Lakeland. Both those towns are only about 10 miles from me. No such luck.

You might enjoy the book Faithful by Stewart O'Nan and Stephen King (Yes, THE Stephen King). It's about 2004 and they talk about going to ST. Also it's just a really great book!
