This board is so busy that I thought someone here would have to have an answer for me! Seems like no matter how long your Disney trip is, when you get home there's always lots of laundry isn't there? I would like to have my laundry smell fresh and clean when I'm done, but I'm just not satisfied with the soap and softener I'm using now. If YOUR laundry smells great, do you mind telling me what combination laundry soap/ fabric softener you use? I think it would make the job go so much better!

I am happy with the way my laundry smells...I usually use Era liquid soap and Snuggle liquid fabric softener. Sometimes I use Tide, and that smells good too.

I use Tide, Clean Breeze scent, and Bounce dryer sheets, Gentle Breeze scent. My laundry smells clean but not very strong. I used to use Snuggle all of the time, but it was just a little too powerful for my taste. I miss the softness though.

do not want to stink up the woods.....but we use scent free ARMMMMMMM and HAMMMMMER......and also scent free fabric softener that we put in those amazing intelligent balls that know just when to send it flowing into my clothes......my clothes smell clean but not perfumed.....

ALL, the clear allergen one...and store brand dryer sheets!

I only want to smell the cleaness of the clothes and not perfume ... All free and downy free here.

Tide tablets and snuggle dryer sheets.

I use a liquid laundry soap from the Health food shop. I am really allergic to all the other laundry soaps. I do not use anything else. Not downy or dryer sheets for me. I would be a mess.

My sister uses Gain detergent, and it seems to really have a fresh scent.... just like they advertise.

Also, if you are looking for a nice scent, try dryer sheets. MIL uses those, and I can really tell it.

I have to stay away from things like dryer sheets that leave a fragrance ON the fabric. I do use Downy when I wash my towels though... That really keeps them softer!

You wouldn't happen to use BioKleen? I have some orderd from the organic co-op I just joined. If your ever in a pinch and can't get your usual brand you might be able ot use the All Free. IT is the only one I've found that I don't have to double rinse my clothes.

I used to use Tide and Bounce, loved the way my clothes smelled but about a year ago, I started breaking out in really severe hives and my allergist told me to switch to a baby detergent so now I use Dreft and actually my clothes still smell good, are just as soft, and I've noticed that the Dreft seems to get stains out better.

All Free and any unscented dryer sheet. I don't like the perfumed stuff either.

What brands of unscented dryer sheets have you found. Hopefully I can find some for the occasions when I forget the Downy free in the wash.

I've also found that I only need about 1/4 of the fabric softener called for.

I have never heard of All-Free. It is probably not up here in Canada. We don't get a lot of products up here that you guys get in the States. It is actually from Simply Clean and I think that is down in the States.

I've been using cheap stuff, but have decided to switch to Tide. My laundry certainly looks better since I did. I use store brand dryer sheets, I like the smell and they're cheap.;)

I usually use Tide w/ bleach & Snuggle dryer sheets.
I don't use fabric softener for my towels at all because I've been told that it makes them less absorbant.

I can't use the perfumey things either. I use Era or Whisk all the time. BTW, join DVC and you can bring home clean clothes instead of laundry! ;) We wash a load a day in our room and clean clothes always pack so much easier than dirty ones. We also don't take nearly as many with us because of the in-room laundry.
