Can you freeze full water bottles? We're big water drinkers and want to take them into the park, but having them cold would be nice. Also, will we have any problems bringing a soft sided cooler (6 pack size) in with us?

Thanks for any input!

Water expands when it freezes, so leave some space in the bottle unless you want it to burst.

I have seen guests bring in small coolers of the size you describe.

The problem I have with freezing water bottles too full is that there is nothing to drink for quite some time! We prefer to freeze one roughly 1/2 full so that we have cold water to drink while we wait for the ice to melt!

We always freeze a couple...it helps the other bottles stay colder longer too.

we bring a fairly good sized cooler into the parks...Maybe 10 SPort Bottles and a couple of Capri-suns....

the security guards dont care...

DOnt know what i will ever do without a stroller....will have to get one for our cooler one day....still cheaper than buying water...
Isnt that funny

Here's what we do...fill it a little less than 3/4's full and freeze it. When it is frozen, just before you leave, fill the rest with water.

You have a bit of water for now and it melts through the next few hours...

We've been doing it for years...it's great!! :)
