Stupid question, sorry!

1st trip is booked for Oct. 24! My friend who is a veteran Disney vacationer told me that 'every day I am calling and changing something' about dining reservations. Now this might be ignorant...but can anyone think of why?

I mean, if you wait until your hours come out, make the reservations...why would you be needing to keep changing them? She said she's been literally on the phone at least once a day for months.

Why?? I'm too embarrassed to ask!!

Maybe there are some reservations that she couldn't get, so she calls every day to check for cancellations??? Or maybe she's got nothing better to do (JOKE!)

if you cant get an Adr, and call each day, you may get one someone else canceled.

My guess is she is doing research and keeps reading more and more stuff and thinking that the places she has chosen are either a) not getting favorable reviews anymore and she doesn't want to eat there or b) are getting great reviews and now wants to eat there. Or she keeps changing her itinerary and has to change dining arrangements to coincide with it (I am guilty of this often!)
