Stupid Question is BOG now reservation only?

Last summer I know they added breakfast reservations. However when looking at reservations recently I noticed that there is a lunch option. So do they no longer do the pager walk up thing for lunch? I'm assuming that they may have moved to this since they were offering the reservation for lunch option as a test for select people.

Also the new restaurant Skipper Canteen, my DD read that it was walk up (like BoG used to be) but I honestly can not tell when looking on line if it is or if you need a reservation. We have a trip coming up but my niece and her husband are taking an impromptu trip this coming weekend with their 3 yr old. It will be their first visit. I did get them some decent reservations but was curious still about these two. I don't want to suggest looking into something if it doesn't really exist.

I don't think you've been able to walk up at BOG for a long time. You definitely need an ADR for any meal there.

I believe, according to what I've read, that Skipper's Canteen is walk up only (though maybe I read something about them adding same-day ADRs?).

It has been a couple years since we went to BoG, maybe even before my youngest was born. We only did a dinners there and each time DH complained that the food was "weird". The rest of us liked it. I just haven't bothered looking the last few trips because of him so I didn't notice.

The Canteen does come up when looking for reservations as something to make a reservation for but there are either no available options or it simply is not an option to book yet.

Right now it's a day of ADR until Feb. 27th. You just go on the Disney website and make your ADR's like the rest of the restaurants.
