How do you prepare a Mango? My DD brought home several after I told her we need to eat more fruit in our house. I don't know what to do with it though. I thought she'd bring home peaches, plums and strawberries but she brought all the tropical fruit home. Do I just peel them and cut them?

Yes, you just peel them and cut them. There is a very hard pit in the middle so I just try to cut down to the pit (you'll know you hit it) and section pieces off. Depending on how fresh they are, it can get kinda messy, but they are so yummy!

Nah, no stupid questions here. I'm always looking for reinforcement and new ideas.

Yes, you peel and cut. They taste really good if you make a fruit salad with peaches, mangoes, pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, and grapes. The same ingredients plus lowfat yogurt and ice also make a really good smoothie.
