Stupid Passport Question

Just got our passports, and this is my first time having one. When I show it to customs, do I have to have my other id handy as well, or is just the passport enough? Thanks.

I always have my birth certificate ready too.....just in case.

Your passport is enough. Never carry my birth certificate with me and never had a problem.

Make sure you photocopy everything you're bringing, and leave it at home with someone you trust.

If anything is stolen or lost, it's a simple phone call to get the process rolling

All you need is your passport.

I second that of photo coping your passport. I also take a photocopy of it and take it with me and put put it in a different location than the original.
