is only a 5 day park hopper, not the park hopper PLUS! I was wondering why it was so cheap..I should have questioned the CM at the Disney Store.!

Question...Am I going to need those extra 2 pluses that go with that card? What are we doing in the evening that I might need those options. I won't be in for the BB meet.

I know (or I think) I can upgrade the card when I get there after I have used 1 day. I did that last time I went down...went from a 5 day to a 7 day plus. Is that option still available if I need it?

You can upgrade at WDW to a 7 day hopper plus, you will just have to pay the difference between the passes.

It won't be very inconvenient to do it :)

You will need one of the plusses if you go to Pleasure Island. Just remember that you got a discounted price at the Disney Store, and the tickets sold at WDW are non-discounted. You may end up paying the non-discounted price for a 7-day PHP if you upgrade.

I only need 5 days, so I will not be upgrading at all. The cost of a single ticket to PI is only around 20.00 and if we only go there 1 time it just doesn't justify the extra money for the plus features.

Hi Nancy,

I've read somewhere that on Friday nights that AP holders can bring a guest in for free on friday nights to PI. You are welcome to be my guest.

PLEASURE ISLAND ANNUAL PASS HOLDER BONUSES
Disney recently announced a new perk for annual pass holder! AP holders can bring a guest to PLEASURE ISLAND for FREE every Friday evening. (Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.)

Carol - Do you have a Pleasure Island Annual Pass? Or is there such a thing. I don't think that regular AP's entitle you to admission to Pleasure Island. I wonder how this is supposed to work.

Hi John (can't wait to see you again) :D,
I do have a PAP. Actually Chuck has one as well. But I'm not sure if he'll be coming that night. I think so, but he may just crash. It would be really nice to use some of these perks. I always forget the discounts and stuff.

Now that I've read it again, do you think that only Pleasure Island Annual Passholders get this perk? I mean being a PAP and having PI including in this should mean I'm a PI AP, right? I'm pretty sure I orignally read this from a newsletter I got. Maybe I should post this over on the parks board.

So Nancy, providing this is the case, you're welcome to be my guest, but I'll post there and confirm.

I'm not so sure that I would stake my life on it, but when I read the blurb last time, I was pretty sure it meant for PI Annual Passholders, not PAP's. Otherwise the people I was with could have got in on my tickets - instead, they decided to buy one PI AP and got the other person in on that.

I just called to confirm and I'm sorry to say that the free guest is only for PI AP. I get a 20% discount for up to 3 people though and you're welcome to that.

Nancy, I am sure there will be plenty of folks who can get a discounted ticket at PI. The trick is just finding out who and have them get your ticket.:D

I have a few discount tickets for PI that I pre-purchased online for $16 each just in case someone (like NancY) needs one.

You guys are great! Thanks for all the offers.

Nancy, or anyone else that needs to get into PI on Friday night, we have a Dual Annual Pass to Pleasure Island, and would be more than happy to let somebody go in with us. Just send me a PM if interested.

There is always a 20% discount coupon in the tourist book that you can get at the airport and most area stores.

FYI - $16 is slightly better than 20% because the tax is included in that price.

John..looks like I might be taking you up on your offer...I'll let you know next week!
:teeth: :teeth:
