Stupid Dances!

We have an 8th grade dance, and you don't have to go with anyone, because it's still considered a fun night. But anyway, it's usually tradition that you go with someone. So i asked my ex-boyfriend/friend if he'd go with me and he said "I'm going to have to think about it." so then my best friend goes up to him and says, "Come on, she just wants a chance." and he says "She lost that chance when she broke up with me a year ago." So Natalie says, "You neeed to stop holding this grudge, she said she was sorry." He goes, "What grudge??"

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE HE'S HOLDING SOMETHING AGAINST ME OR WHAT??????

Okay...I know this board is for teens (I'm 24)...but I like reading everything. Try not to worry about this guy... It's always hard to figure out what guys are thinking, but he very well may still be a little hurt from you breaking up with him. Just hang in there and be a friend and he should come around. If not, he's not worth it.

Ok, so today I get my answer.

"I'd be too afraid of what people will think of me if I go with you. But if you go, I will dance with you"

i'm so mad right now.
and my friends have only made it worse for me.

I was telling him how i feel, when my best friend keeps talking to him after i tell her not to, so he doesn't even here me while i'm pouring my heart out

Exactly how I feel.
My brother is 13 and has been "dating" a girl since January.
Y'all are too young to know real relationships...there is SO much more involved.

Bleh. Middle School relationships suck. I've always felt that way. Everyone is too young and just starting to deal with the raging hormones that they'll have for awhile. At least wait til your in high school, but my opinion is that you should wait until your 16.

You know what I've learned this year in 8th grade...boys suck...they lie...and don't care about any body but themselves...and then to find out a good friend backstabs you and goes out with him when they knew you liked him!

Sorry...I needed to get that out! But boys are stupid anyhow!
