Stupid Coffee Creamer

We got new coffee creamer b/c it sounded super yummy.

It's not.

I was looking forward to coffee this morning, since it went below 50 degrees outside(which is a big deal in FL!). Fixed my coffee up (we have a Senseo, so it's a 1 cup at a time deal), sat down with my yummy omelette, took a big sip of coffee, and was really disappointed.

At least the omelette was good.

To be fair, I could go make another cup of coffee, but I really don't want to get up. Oh well.. :lmao:

I got Mint Mocha Truffle and Pumpkin Spice. Both were good, especially when topped with a dollop of Cool Whip and cinnamon or cocoa powder. Not as good as Starbuck's or Gloria Jean's (do you have those in FL?), but decent!

I got Vanilla Caramel Brownie creamer. Overwhelming - especially when paired with vanilla caramel coffee. Blech!

EWWWW. I had that creamer two weeks ago. I was so happy when I could finally buy a new one.

Last week, I had Gingerbread. I liked it. This morning, I opened up Peppermint Mocha.

It is okay. :goodvibes

I just am really wanting to be wowed by one. Something that sweeps me off my feet.

Okay, I'm sounding like I'm looking for Prince Charming. DH...????? :laughing:

Wow!! Congrats on your coming Starbuck's!

We have a mall with 4 Starbucks in it - nope, not kidding at all! 2 freestanding ones, 1 in a Target, and 1 in a Barnes & Nobles. Make sure you try the White Chocolate Mocha and the Peppermint Mocha! Soooo goooood! :love:

There's a Vanilla Caramel one that's pretty good - Coffeemate, I think. DH tried the Eggnog one last year and didn't care for it at all!

I totally agree with you - I really want a coffee creamer that rocks. I didn't even like coffee until a few years ago. It took me ages to get to where I'd drink it with plain creamer.

Oh, Delicious Coffee Creamer, are you out there?

Peppermint mocha was there yesterday! The guy is lucky I didn't hug him I was so happy.

I love SB's pepermint mocha, too. I had one the other day. There is one right near where I work and I swear that it exerts some kind of force that tries to pull me in!
Gloria Jean's is a coffee place, usually in malls. I worked there for a bit. The owner encouraged us to try everything, so when there was some thing left in the steamer or blender, we got a little cup and finished it off. Heavenly! Their Pumkpin Spice Latte is the best...pumpkin spice toddy, steamed milk, and white cocoa powder, topped with whipped cr and cinnamon. Mmmm!

I just don't think I'd love eggnog in my coffee, so I never bought it. Thanks for the heads up.

As far as Gloria Jeans, DMIL always buys the Christmas coffee beans from there; I don't know the name, but it is yummy.

Oh, and don't even get me started on having a chocolate spoon to dunk in the coffee. :cloud9:

You know what else rocks? (You might have it up there, since you're in the North) Snow Cream! I'm pretty sure Mayfield puts it out. The only time I've seen it was when we were in TN visiting relatives. It's sooo good - tastes just like the real thing (without the risk of cat piddle).

Holy crap!!! Don't even start talking about desserts! :lmao:

I have 3/4 of a chocolate cream pie in the fridge!
