Hello all

I am curious if any of the DVC studios have two beds or are they are Murphy/pull out sofas? .. we are continuing doing our research as to where to buy (100-150) points.. there will be two adults and 2 children currently 8 and 5

Any help would be great

Thank you

Old Key West. Vero Beach's Inn Rooms have 2 queens, but I don't recommend buying there if you plan on booking WDW most of the time.

Yes we would be booking WDW 99% of the time and really want to buy where we would stay

You should be OK with the studios that have a Murphy bed for a while but at some point you'll likely need to move to 1 BR that have the twin pullout or 2 BR. I'd plan for the possibility of the 1 BR and get enough points to allow that option at least half the time.

Honestly, we bought into Grand Californian and rarely stay there as we live 13 miles away, but it is such an in demand resort that at 11 months we can almost always find someone to trade with where we want to stay. So I don't necessarily go with the buy where you want to stay argument, but to each their own.

Yes, but VGC is a special case because it is so small and the only DVC resort (at least so far) in California.

Yeah, it works well for us, the problem is we don't always plan our vacations 11 months out....lol

But when we do, we can usually get what we want.

The funny part is we didn't plan on that, we just got an exceptional deal on the points as we were some of the last to buy (it sold out the next week).

I wouldn't rely on trade power buying OKW or SSR.
Neither would I, those have always been available at 7 months out, but they also have been the two resorts we least want to stay at.

We have stayed at SSR on some last minute trips, as that and OKW we're all that was available at about 3 months out.
