Studios in OKW & BW

Hi there...looking to book a studio in either OKW or BW for next July/August. I was looking online and it looks like OKW's studios have 2 beds...instead of the normal bed/sofa bed combo...is this correct?

What about BW? What are their setups? I also read that some studios in BW have the normal bed/sofa bed combo plus a daybed...is this true?

We are a family of 4....2 boys ages 7 & 12......thanks!!

Yes, all of the studios at OKW have 2 Q beds. Some of the studios at BWV, have a deacons chair that some refer to as a daybed. We had a dedicated studio at BWV in October and it had that piece of furniture. It was convenient for putting our purchases on. It had a cushion that was about 3 inches thick.

I agree with Bobbi that the "daybed" is really more of a cushioned, wide seat. And my understanding is that you can't reserve a room with it...it is just a function of availability and many of the CM's at the front desk won't even know what you're talking about.

OKW is the only DVC resort with 2 queen beds in the studio instead of the queen bed + sofa/sleeper.

If you are looking to avoid having the two boys sleep in the same bed, you could bring an air mattress. One boy could sleep on the unopened sofa and the other on the floor. You'd need to bring your own linens for the air mattress too.

Both are great resorts, you will enjoy it at either. Have a great vacation.

My little family(Wife,son and Mother in Law) and I have stayed at in OKW studio our last two visits. The two queen beds are so much better than having to sleep on the pull out sofa!

At both resorts, your boys will either have to sleep together or have someone on the floor, with an aero bed.
If your boys do not want to sleep together, the available studio floor space is about the same at both OKW & BWV, however due to layout. I would have to give the BWV studio the advantage though. A BWV studio has a very nice front entryway to put an aero bed. A OKW studio does not have the small entry way and instead opens directly into the studio. All WDW resorts are great!
