Studio to 1 Bedroom

I am renting points at BWV for a studio September 27 - October 1. If I wanted to upgrade to a 1 bedroom when I get there, if available, how does that work? Do they ever discount them? Will they even let me do it since I am renting from a DVC member and not a "cash" customer? Thanks.

A DVC member can only make a change from a studio to 1 bedroom by using additional points. You cannot combine points and cash for a reservation. Comp upgrades are very rare at DVC. If you want a one bedroom, I would arrange to book it now. The only way you could change once you are there is to contact your member and have them make the change and/or forfeit the reservation you have and pay cash for the one-bedroom.
