Just returned from a BCV Studio. There is one queen bed and a pull-out sofa. Although I've heard the studios described as large hotel rooms, we didn't find it any bigger than a hotel room. The fridge, microwave, bar sink etc. are a plus, but do think of it as a hotel room more than any sort of a vacation home!
SSR has the Queen Bed and a Double Sleeper Sofa, at least the unit we were in.
Found it better to have the Sleeper Sofa put away to make more room! But it was definately more spacious than any of the Moderates or Value Resorts! We loved it! DD is happier to go back!
besides OKW - all DVC studios have 1 queen bed and a double (full size) sleeper sofa - yes they are about the same size as a hotel room -
with the sleeper sofa up - you do have more space.
you also have the balcony area (the values and moderates don't).
OKW generally has bigger bathrooms - besides 2 queen beds.
Oh I sleep on the sleeper sofa - I let mother have the bed - so you can sleep on one.
I found I prefer the queen beds at OKW - if I know I am traveling with anyone else. just because the beds is definitely more comfortable - but you can sleep on one.
Here is a list of the DVC room sizes. This is from posts on this board.
Just to compare, CBR, WL and AKL std rooms are 340 sq. ft.
The other mods, CSR, PORS, and POFQ are 312 sq.ft.
The AllStars and POP Cen. are 260 sq. ft.
Poly, GF, and CR are about 380 sq. ft. and up
