We have never been to HHI and we will be going on June 7. What view options are there for studios? Is there anything we should request or hope for? Are there any studios with a marsh view?

Most of the studios are in the Live Oak Lodge and have a marsh view. There is an elevator in the lodge. For our next trip I'll be requesting a top floor room. Even with the renovations you can still hear people walking above you.

We always request the top floor as well.

We just did our first trip there two weeks ago. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, so I'm no help on your question, but I wanted to say that you will have a great time! Wonderful Disney customer service as always and lots to do! We will definitely go back at some point. Don't forget to get your Dole Whip at the Beach House! :flower1:

Our favorite studio was 1137, on the third floor of the main lodge. One year, our reservation for a 1 BR was inexplicably partially cancelled, the resort was full, and we changed rooms (and room sizes) practically every night. We only stayed in this studio for one night, but we loved it so much that we almost didn't want to move. The next year we were in 1126, just below it, and loved the view there also. Just one caveat-it faces east, so in the morning in late spring or summer it can get pretty toasty out there for morning coffee (as we learned on our subsequent trip). However, the first time, in 1136, was November-no problem with it being too hot then!

I liked building 31 at the far end of the resort. There are two chairs on the shore that look out over the water so you can sit and watch the boats come in and out. Very peaceful and quiet.

I agree that building 31 is terrific. However, I didn't know there were studios there. I thought there were studios in building 30, but not 31. Was I wrong? If so, we'd definitely want to try building 31.
